ORU Women Can't Rally Past South Dakota

Posted: Updated:

The ORU Women couldn't rally from a ten point halftime deficit to beat South Dakota.  ORU tied the game at 54 with 3:55 left in the game.  But the Coyotes win 60-57 at the Mabee Center snapping ORU's four-game winning streak.

The Golden Eagles led South Dakota 2-0, but then the Coyotes go on an 11-0 run to take control of the game.

South Dakota forward Amber Hegge led all scorers with 25 points.  She had 19 in the first half alone.  In their first meeting with ORU, Hegge only had 11 points in a loss to the Golden Eagles.

Kevi Luper scored 21.

Oral Roberts travels to Fargo, ND Saturday to face North Dakota State.  Tip-off is set for 5:00pm.
