Manager Duane Espy Talks Drillers

Posted: Updated:

Tulsa Drillers Manager Duane Espy was back in Tulsa Tuesday to talk about the upcoming minor league season.

He said he doesn't know who will make up his 2012 Drillers roster and that's a good thing.  All the guys who were playing in Tulsa last year have a chance to move up.

Espy talked about how the Drillers and the rest of the Rockies organization are excited about hosting the 2012 Texas League All-Star game at ONEOK Field.  The all-star game will be played on June 28th.

He also says it's special managing for the Tulsa Drillers because hands down they have the best atmosphere in the TL.  From the fans to the ballpark to the support staff, the Tulsa Drillers are the best.

The Drillers open the season April 5th at San Antonio.  They play their first home series starting on April 12th against the Missions.
