Cowboys Snap Road Losing Streak

Posted: Updated:

Right now the best way to snap a 14 game road losing streak in conference play is to visit Texas Tech.  That's exactly what Travis Ford and the Oklahoma State Cowboys did Tuesday night.  They beat the Red Raiders in Lubbock, 80-63.

Former Tulsa assistant Billy Gillispie has a long way to go with this Red Raider squad.

OSU's Markel Brown had a career night.  He was 3-of-6 from behind the arch and scored a career-high 30 points.

He also had a nasty alley oop jam.  Freshman Le'Bryan Nash threw it off the backboard and Brown threw it down.

One thing about this Oklahoma State team, they are athletic and produce some very cool dunks.

Nash had a nice night as well.  He finished with 16 points and was a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line.

In fact the Cowboys as a whole were 33-for-35.

Oklahoma State hosts Baylor on Saturday in Stillwater.  Tip-off is set for 12:30pm.  You can watch the game on Tulsa's Channel 8.
