St. Louis, MO -

Organizers of a parade in St. Louis welcoming home war veterans say they've been approached by officials in several other cities, including Oklahoma City, about doing the same.

The St. Louis parade was held January 28th and drew an estimated 100-thousand observers and 20-thousand participants and the organizers say they spread the word through social media.

Craig Schneider and Tom Applebaum says it took just one month and 40-thousand dollars to pull the big parade off. It was the first major event honoring the end of the war in Iraq.

Other cities who have shown interest include Chicago, Denver, Greensboro (NC), Philadelphia, Nashville, San Antonio and Tucson (AZ).
