It looks like Oklahoma's flu season is finally starting to see an up tick.
But so far, it's not nearly as bad as last year.
Since New Year's Day, 8 people have been hospitalized for influenza.
And of those cases, 6 happened in just the past few weeks.
Three of the patients were elderly and the rest were children.
Last year, 1,000 Oklahomans were hospitalized because of the flu and 26 people died.
