It's time for Girl Scout Cookies.
Saturday was the Great Cookie Warehouse Pickup where each troop picked up their cookies to sell.
The warehouse was packed with about 70,000 cases.
Next Saturday, the Girl Scouts will start selling the cookies.
Leaders tell us this is their biggest project of the year. The girls learn leadership and financial skills both for today and the future.
Kathy Brandon is a leader in the Girl Scouts and says, "T his is so wonderful because we see the smiles on the girls' faces. They set a goal, and when they reach it, they get so much satisfaction and by being able to fund their own activities, that gives them a sense of pride and just can't say enough about setting a goal and them learning how to attain it."
