Casino Fight Goes Viral

Rumors abound as to when the first trailers will start to arrive at 111th & 129th. So far it's all quiet at the site, but protestors are being anything but.

"I'm a video producer, let me help communicate," said Seth Spreiter. He lives just two blocks from the site and volunteered his talents to produce a video to help spread the word about what's at stake.

"This casino would stand directly south of the existing Tulsa Technology Center, only a few blocks from existing neighborhoods and Abiding Harvest church, and in direct proximity to a future campus of Broken Arrow public schools," the video details.

"Natalie and I bought our home four months before we heard about the casino, and honestly if we had known it was coming, it might have affected, do we want to live two blocks from a casino?," asked Seth.

"This is not a done deal as so many people would have proposed that it is," said one man in the video.

Several residents appear in the six minute piece, each with various arguments as to why it's not right for BA.

"The development is illegal, pursuant to federal, state, and tribal law and it could set a dangerous precedent," the video declares.

"It helps to, I think, demonstrate how passionate the area residents are about opposing, keeping this casino out of our neighborhood," said Seth.
