Tulsa's Wins Streak Ends At Eight Games

Posted: Updated:

Tulsa's seven game win streak started with an 11-point win over UTEP at the Reynolds Center on January 11th.

The streak ended Wednesday with a 9-point loss to UTEP in El Paso.

The Golden Hurricane just couldn't get anything going.  They missed their first five shots of the game.

Scottie Haralson finally ended the drought over five minutes into the contest with a three pointer.  Haralson finished the game with 13 points.  Jordan Clarkson was 6-of-13 from the field, but led the way for TU with 16 points.

Their shooting woes continued through out the night only shooting 33-percent.  Tulsa is the best three-point shooting team in Conference USA, but Wednesday night they were just 6-of-24 from behind the arch.

UTEP ends Tulsa's winning streak beating the Golden Hurricane 64-55.

TU is back on the court Saturday at home against Houston.  Tip-off is set for 7:00pm.
