Los Angeles, CA -

When Adele took home the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, it meant a native Tulsan would be taking home an award as well.

Ryan Tedder, who was born in Tulsa in 1979 and attended Oral Roberts University, is an accomplished singer, songwriter and producer.

He was a producer and engineer on Adele's "21", which took home the Album of the Year at Sunday night's awards show in Los Angeles.

Tedder was also up for Producer of the Year (Non-Classical), an award that went to Paul Epworth, who also worked with Adele.

Tedder is the lead singer of the band OneRepublic, which was nominated for a Grammy for the single "Apologize" in 2009.

He has also received nominations for Record of the Year and Album of the Year for his work with Beyonce and Record of the Year for Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love".

Congratulations to Ryan.
