Late Rally Falls Short Against Huskies

NORMAN, Okla. -- History continues to favor #3 UConn women's basketball in its all-time series against Oklahoma. The Lady Huskies knocked off the Sooners 73-55 Monday evening, improving to 10-0 versus OU.

Oklahoma trailed by as much as 17 in the first half, but managed to cut the deficit to 5 at the half.

The Sooners never led in the contest but did pull to within 9 with 4:17 remaining.

Whitney Hand led Oklahoma with 18 points. OU's next game is Wednesday at home against Kansas State.
