Durant To Coach Celeb All-Star Game

Posted: Updated:

We know Kevin Durant can shoot. We know he can dunk, pass, rebound and just about everything a player can do on the basketball court. But, can he coach?

He will when the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game is played next Friday in Orlando. Durant was chosen to be the head coach of the West team.

Orlando's Dwight Howard will coach the East team.

The teams haven't been drawn up yet, but players this year include Grammy winner Ne-Yo, Grammy nominee J. Cole, Common, JB Smoove from "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "Jersey Shore" cast member Vinny Guadagnino, Kevin Hart of "Laugh At My Pain", Javier Colon, winner of "The Voice", Drew and Jonathan Scott of "Property Brothers", Jesse Williams from "Grey's Anatomy", NBA legends Mitch Richmond, Penny Hardaway and Nick Anderson, reigning WNBA MVP Tamika Catchings and former Oklahoma State guard and ESPN analyst and host Doug Gottlieb.

The game will be played Friday, February 24th at 7 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN.
