
Former Union wrestler Ronnie Balfour passed away Tuesday after a year-long battle with leukemia.
In 2010, Ronnie won the Oklahoma state title his senior year at 171-pounds.
He went on to join the Oklahoma Sooners wrestling team.
The type of leukemia Ronnie died from is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow.
Ronnie's former OU coach Jack Spates said Ronnie was a great kid and outstanding talent.
He died at the age of 20.
