Answering or texting on phones. It may seem like an obvious interview mistake, but employers say it does happen.
Appearing disinterested.
Not dressing for the occasion.
Coming across as arrogant or know-it-all.
Talk negatively about previous or current employers is a turn off for hiring managers.
Chewing gum.
Showing up late.
