BOISE, Idaho -- Tulsa University distance runner Chris O'Hare accomplished what he came up just short on doing a year ago: Win the mile race at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
After finishing runner-up to BYU's Miles Batty in 2011, the TU junior came across the finish line first with a winning time of 4:01.66. Batty finished third.
ORU pole vaulter Jack Whitt finished 3rd with a height of 18-0 1/2.
