Williams led the ORU with two RBI, while Cam Schiller was responsible for a double and one RBI. Jose Trevino and Brandon King were the only ORU players with multiple hits, as they each contributed two.
Kurt Giller pitched seven strong innings for the Golden Eagles, giving up two runs on four hits with five strikeouts. Alex Gonzalez (1-0) earned the win as he came on to pitch the eight and part of the ninth. Gonzalez allowed just one hit in his second appearance since his injury.
Alabama (6-9) pitched well all day but were overcome in the ninth by the ORU bats as they drop two out of three as the host team in the Alabama Classic.

Schiller got the Golden Eagles on the board in the sixth-inning with an RBI-double, his fourth extra base hit of the series, tying the game, 1-1.
Alabama responded with an RBI-single by pinch hitter Josh Rosecrans in the seventh-inning to give the Tide a 2-1 advantage.
Jared Schlehuber would start the rally for the Golden Eagles by walking with one out in the ninth-Inning. Brandon Healy pinch ran for Schlehuber and advanced to second after a grounder by Nate Goro bounced off the third baseman Brett Booth's chest putting two one with one out. Jose Trevino walked to load the bases for Bennett Pickar who was looking to drive in the go ahead run with a base hit.
Pickar was unable get a hit, as he struck out for the ninth time in the series, leaving it up to Williams who was still hitless on the day.
Williams quickly fell behind 0-2, but slapped a grounder past the pitcher that skipped into centerfield between the shortstop and second baseman, scoring Healy and Goro to give ORU a 3-2 lead.
Alabama tried to rally in the bottom of the ninth, putting runners on first and second before Lars Liguori replaced Alex Gonzalez. Liguori recorded the second out, and Matt Rush closed the game with a strikeout, earning his second save of the season.
The Golden Eagles are on the road against Wichita State on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
