Tulsa -
A well-known pediatrician in the Tulsa area was arrested early Monday morning.
Dr. Ted Kaltenbach was arrested at about 2:40 a.m. by Bixby Police. According to police, officers responded at about 1:15 a.m. to an "in-progress" physical disturbance.
According to the arrest report, a 37-year-old female was examined by paramedics and treated for minor injuries -- scratches and swelling on her left arm.
The arrest report also indicates suspected use of alcohol and drugs.
Kaltenbach was located and taken into custody by Bixby Police and later taken to the Tulsa County Jail where he was booked on complaints of domestic assault and battery on a minor child and domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor.
Bond was set at 20-thousand dollars.
Kaltenbach has a practice called Kids Healthcare located at Southcrest Hospital near 91st and Mingo.
