They may be extinct, but dinosaurs were center stage for families in Tulsa this weekend.
The Discover the Dinosaurs exhibit features animated dinosaurs that flash colors and have sound effects.
Signs detail how the creatures ate and survived so long ago.
Visitors can actually ride on the dinosaurs. Organizers say it's a hands-on lesson that teaches children a little bit about life before their time. "That's what separates us from TVs and books, but also from museums, where you can just look and touch," said Jeremy Bush, who works at Discover the Dinosaurs. "We don't have that rule here."
The exhibit continues Sunday at the Tulsa Convention Center. Tickets are $14 for parents and $9 for kids.
