A report from OUInsider.com tonight says that WR Jaz Reynolds has been suspended for the first seven games of next season, and WR Trey Franks has been dismissed from the Sooner's team. Both players reportedly violated team rules.
Reynolds, a junior, was third on the team last season with 41 catches for 715 yards and five touchdowns. He saw action in 10 games. The seven games he will miss are: at Utep, vs. Florida A&M, vs. Kansas State, at Texas Tech, vs. Texas, vs. Kansas, and vs. Notre Dame.
Franks, also a junior, tallied 22 catches for 196 yards in 11 games.
The loss of Franks and Reynolds leaves OU with just two players on its roster that caught a pass last season: Kenny Stills and Kameel Jackson.
But if Jackson's Twitter feed is accurate, the sophomore has decided to transfer to Texas A&M. That has not been confirmed, or denied, by either University.
