Thunder vs. Spurs: Western Conference Finals

Posted: Updated:

For the second-straight season, the Oklahoma City Thunder have advanced to the NBA's Western Conference Finals.  And for the second-straight season, they will face a team from the Lone Star State.

Oklahoma City, the West's second seed, will face the San Antonio Spurs, the West's top seed, for a chance to play in the NBA Finals.

Game one of the Western Conference Finals will take place inside the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX on Sunday, May 27th.  Tip-off will be at 7PM CST.

The Spurs have swept through the playoffs so far, notching series wins over Memphis and the Los Angeles Clippers without dropping a single game.

San Antonio and OKC faced each other three times in the regular season, with the Thunder losing two of those three games.

On January 8th, OKC won 108-96 at home behind 27 points from Kevin Durant.  Russell Westbrook notched a game-high 33 points on February 4th in San Antonio, but the Spurs prevailed 107-96.  The series finale was in OKC on March 16th, and again Westbrook lead the way, this time scoring 36 points - but San Antonio was victorious, 114-105.

The schedule for games two through four are below:

Game 2: Tuesday, May 29 - 8PM - San Antonio
Game 3: Thursday, May 31 - 8PM - Oklahoma City
Game 4: Saturday, June 2 - 7:30PM - Oklahoma City

Tulsa's Channel 8 Sports and KTUL.com will have the latest on the Thunder all the way through the playoffs.
