Drillers Bite Was As Loud As Their Bark

The Tulsa Drillers show they still have a pretty good bite after losing seven of their last eight games.  Wednesday night Tulsa beat Frisco 5-2 on Bark in the Park night at ONEOK Field.

The Drillers got on the board in the fourth when Kent Matthes singles on a line drive to left fielder scoring Nolan Arenado. Tulsa led 1-0.

Then they open it up in the fifth inning.  The Drillers score four runs highlighted by Angelys Nina triples  to center field. Lars Davis, Michael Mitchell and Josh Rutledge scores.

The Roughriders runs in the seventh and eighth, but the Drillers hold on to win this home stand 5-2.

Same two teams Friday night at 7:05.
