Thunder Players Are Ready For The Spurs

Posted: Updated:

It seems like forever since the Thunder closed out its series against the Los Angeles Lakers.  After a condensed regular season, and playing most playoff games with just one days rest, having to wait until Sunday for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals seems like an eternity.

But as bad as it is for the fans, imagine what the players and coaches feel like.

Especially the Thunder, who have fielded multiple questions about how they plan on stopping the top-seeded Spurs.

The normally mild-mannered Kevin Durant was tired of talking about San Antonio, saying that people should be asking him how the Spurs are planning on stopping the Thunder.  KD has a point, too.  This series will not be as one-sided as the two previous sweeps San Antonio has enjoyed.

It all gets going Sunday night at 7:30 PM from the AT&T center in San Antonio.

Tulsa's Channel 8 will be at Games 1 & 2 in the Alamo City, so check back for the latest on the Thunder and Spurs.
