16 year old Miranda likes music and tv, but loves playing games. So, what better place to meet this outgoing young lady than Andy B's on South Lewis.
"on these it's pretty hard."
Miranda has had her share of setbacks but maintains a positive outlook and certainly wears her feelings, or thoughts on her wrist.....
"I'm a jewelry freak."
One band she says is for strength and hope. The others are treasures from friends and family.
"it's from my sisters. This one is from my little sister robin."
And family is very important to Miranda. She wasn't nervous talking about adoption, but actually excited about the possibilities of joining a family.
"it's exciting for me to find the right family to adopt me. I think it will be fun for me, but make my friends cry if I go away from them."
Leaving her friends and finding a family is something Miranda thinks about a lot.
"everyday when I wake up I want to be adopted and think about it when I go to school."
This caring teen is a sophomore and loves math, and she needed it to count all the tickets she won. Miranda says she prays daily and would love to find a Christian family that goes to church on a regular basis and one maybe that can't have children of their own.
"the people that can't have kids I want to be that person, that will fit in and see that I will be thankful for them and God will bless them."
