Sooners Blank Arizona At NCAA Super Regional

Keilani Ricketts struck out seven batters in tossing her 14th shutout of the season as Oklahoma defeated Arizona 6-0 Friday in the first game of an NCAA Super Regional in Norman.

Ricketts allowed seven hits in the game and fought her way out of trouble in the seventh, striking out Lina Koria with bases loaded to end the game.

She's now 32-and-7 on the season.

The Sooners and Wildcats will continue the best-of-three Super Regionals Saturday morning at 8 a.m. If the Sooners win, they'll advance to the Women's College World Series.
