Missing Man's Body Recovered In Dripping Springs

Authorities with Grand River Dam Authority Police Department say they have recovered the body of a 26-year-old man missing since he fell from a watercraft on Sunday.

GRDA learned of the accident in the Dripping Springs area of Grand Lake late Sunday evening.

Several hours of searching had to be suspended until daylight Monday. According to the GRDA Police the unidentified man fell from a watercraft when another person was trying to board it.

He was wearing a life-vest but did not have it fastened. The life-vest resurfaced but the man did not. His body was found around 9:30 A.M. today in 15-feet of water.
