There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, including some that may be severe, beginning late Monday afternoon as a cold front moves across the area.
Better chances for showers and thunderstorms will come Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as several rounds of thunderstorms will bring multiple opportunities for rain.
Large hail, damaging winds and heavy rainfall will be the primary threats from the storms.
