The Oklahoma Sooners and Oral Roberts Golden Eagles will both take to the diamond today afternoon, as the 2012 NCAA baseball regionals get underway across the country.
OU is the second-seed in the Charlottesville regional, and will take on three-seed Appalachian State at 3 PM.
Meanwhile, the Golden Eagles find themselves in the Waco regional with the Big 12's Baylor Bears. ORU, a four-seed, faces off with the top-seed Bears at 6 PM.
There could be plenty of distractions around the Oral Roberts locker room, as coach Rob Walton has been rumored as a top candidate to replace the fired Frank Anderson at Oklahoma State.
Walton, however, says he is totally focused on this ORU team and trying to reach the College World Series.
