Skiatook Man Arrested For Attempted Abduction

A Skiatook man was arrested and booked in Tulsa County Jail Sunday after allegedly attempting to kidnap an 11 year old girl.

Police tell Channel 8 that the man, 56-year-old Rick Allen Blackwell, was riding his bicycle when he approached the young girl, who was also riding a bicycle. Blackwell asked the young girl if she wanted to race with him. When she said no, he tried to snatch her off of her bike.
