But Oklahoma ace Keilani Ricketts, who had been so good this week, just didn't have it in game two of this best of three game series.
She gave up four runs in the second and set a new world series record, hitting five batters. She lasted just three and a third innings giving up five runs on three hits.
Oklahoma trailed 8-1 going to the bottom of the ninth, but they make it interesting scoring five runs highlighted by a Jessica Shults.
But Alabama holds on to win, 8-6 setting up a winner take all game three Wednesday night at 7:00pm.
