NBA Officials Conduct 'Walk-Through' Of Trophy Presentation

Posted: Updated:

It could happen for real tonight, but this afternoon, NBA officials conducted a walk-through of a potential trophy presentation for the Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Channel 8's John Moss was on the court as officials went through the "practice" of presenting the Western Conference Championship Trophy should the Thunder wrap up their series against the San Antonio Spurs tonight.

Oklahoma City has fought back from an 0-2 hole in the series to win three straight against the Spurs -- a team that had won 20 straight.

With Monday night's win in San Antonio, the Thunder put themselves on the brink of making the NBA Finals for the first time since the franchise moved to Oklahoma City.

Tonight's game begins at 8 p.m. and can be seen on TNT. If the Thunder were to win, the NBA Finals would begin next week and every game will be seen on Tulsa's Channel 8.
