A win by the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night over the San Antonio Spurs send them to the NBA Finals next week on ABC.
At Academy Sports and Outdoors in midtown Tulsa, sealed boxes packed with T-shirts and hats arrived earlier in the day declaring the Thunder as Western Conference champions.
With a win Wednesday night, Academy is reopening its stores immediately so fans can get first dibs on the championship gear.
The store says sales are up and the most popular merchandise items flying off the shelves right now are Durant and Westbrook jerseys.
Dick's Sporting Goods is also reopening after the Thunder victory.
The NBA Finals begin next Tuesday airing on Tulsa's Channel 8.
