Police Investigate Drive By Shooting

A man was shot in the leg Wednesday night during a drive-by shooting.

It happened at Bridgestone Apartments in the 4600 block of South Darlington Avenue just before 10:00 p.m.

Police told Tulsa's Channel 8's crew on the scene that the victim was shot while playing basketball in the apartment complex's parking lot.

A suspect vehicle reportedly pulled up to a group of people playing basketball and started shooting rounds at them.

The suspect vehicle was described as black with tinted windows and was last seen driving northbound on Darlington.

According to EMSA, the victim was taken to Saint John Medical Center in serious condition.
