Thunder Storm Back From Big Deficit To Reach NBA Finals

Oklahoma City -

The Oklahoma City Thunder have advanced to the NBA Finals, rallying from an 18-point deficit to win 107-99 over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals.

The Thunder fell behind quickly, trailing 34-16 late in the first quarter. It was still an 18-point Spurs lead late in the second quarter when the tide began to turn.

It began when Kevin Durant beat the halftime buzzer with a 3-pointer. It continued in the third quarter when Durant erupted for 14 points as the Thunder erased the deficit.

In the fourth quarter, back-to-back three-pointers by Derek Fisher and James Harden pushed the lead to six. Meanwhile, San Antonio, which couldn't miss in the first half, couldn't buy a bucket in the final minutes.

Durant led the way with 34 points while Russell Westbrook added 25. The NBA Finals will begin next week. The only question now is who will they play? Miami or Boston? We could find that out Thursday night.

One thing is for certain. You can see every NBA Finals game on Tulsa's Channel 8!
