Thunder vs. ????? - NBA Finals

Posted: Updated:

The Oklahoma City Thunder are headed to the NBA Finals after beating the San Antonio Spurs 107-99 in game six of the Western Conference Finals.  OKC wins the series 4-2.

But who will Kevin Durant and company face in the NBA Finals.  Boston or Miami.  Right now the Celtics have the upper hand leading the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals 3-2.  Game six of that series is Thursday night in Boston.

The Thunder have played both teams twice this season.  OKC beats Boston both times.  97-88 on January 16th in Boston and then 119-104 in Oklahoma City on February 22nd.  The Heat split with the Thunder in the regular season.  They won the first game in Oklahoma City on March the 25th, 103-87.  LeBron James and Miami won in South Beach, 98-93.

The Oklahoma City Thunder should be favored against either the Celtics or the Heat.  Regardless of who the Thunder will play in the Finals, the Finals will start in Oklahoma City Tuesday, June the 12th at 8:00pm on Tulsa's Channel 8.
