A woman is dead and a suspect is shot by police in north Tulsa.
It all began around 10:15 Wednesday night at a home on north Delaware Avenue.
Police got word that a woman there had been shot.
The first officers to arrive were confronted by an armed man leaving the house.
Police told him to drop his gun and he wouldn't. They fired shots, and the man went down.
He was hit once but should survive.
However, police found a 68-year-old woman dead in the living room floor.
Police say the man is her husband and they were going through a divorce.
Authorities have identified Officer Ian Adair as the officer involved in the shooting. Adair is 28 years old and has been on the force since 2007.
Names of the other officers, suspect and victim have not been released.
