Name: Diane Miller
Profession: Retired Systems Engineer for IBM, currently coaching swimming and tennis at Jenks High School.
Years riding: 21 months
Greatest Achievement on your bike: turning over 3,000 miles on my odometer.
Best food before ride: protein shake with berries and banana.
Favorite drink after ride: Starbucks
Worst spill ever: While riding through Ranch Acres, was hit by an empty trash can being thrown across the street by a trash collector. Knocked unconscious, helmet cracked in 4 places, cracked pelvis in 2 places, shoulder badly bruised rotator cuff. Required ambulance ride and hospital stay for 5 days. Rehab began with walker and ended with a cane. The blessing is I have no memory of the accident. But, I do like to ride at river park and not the city streets.
Secrets of Saint Francis Tulsa Tough: First time to ride Tulsa tough.
Training miles per week: 80-100 miles
Favorite training ride: Riverpath to Turkey Mtn, to Jenks and back.
