KTUL Dominates At Oklahoma AP Broadcast Awards

Tulsa's Channel 8 came home with several awards at Thursday's Oklahoma Associated Press Broadcaster's awards ceremony, including the coveted Television Sweepstakes Award.

In all, KTUL-TV brought home nine of the available 19 awards, including best Spot News Photography (Elizabeth Matthews/Rob Collett), Best Feature Photography (Rob Collett), Best Feature Reporting (Bill Mitchell/Burt Mummolo/Rob Collett), Best Photographer Portfolio (Rob Collett), Best Reporter Portfolio (Burt Mummolo), Best General News Photography (Kristin Dickerson/Rob Collett), Best General News Reporting (Burt Mummolo) and Best Website (Kevin King/Carlton Houston).

The annual awards banquet was held in Edmond Thursday afternoon.
