North Tulsa -

Three men tried to enter a house on Saturday.

Just after 2:00 p.m. Saturday, police responded to an attempted home invasion at a home in the 500 block of 49th Court North.

Two women were reportedly inside the house when three men tried to break into the home. All three reportedly had guns.

TPD Sergeant Matt McCord told Tulsa's Channel 8's crew on the scene that one of the men trying to break into the home shared a baby with one of the women inside the house and that he was trying to gain access to his child.

All three suspects were described as black males, and they reportedly left the scene in a silver Dodge Charger.

Sgt. McCord said the man whose child was inside the home had come over at 10:30 a.m. Saturday and fired shots into the house but that the women did not report that incident to police at the time.

Anyone with information on this attempted home invasion is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
