Verizon Wireless and other electronics providers told Channel 8 Sunday they are seeing Father's Day shoppers flooding into their stores.
Verizon District Manager, Terry Rackley, said dads have been looking for themselves too. He said tablets, like iPads and other tablets, have been getting lots of attention. He said iPad costs start around $630.
Rackley advises customers on a budget to look at personalized phone cases for dads. Some come with camouflage print, sports teams' logos, and even family photos. Those can cost between $15 and $60.
Verizon is running a promotion for dads for the next week.
Channel 8 spoke with shoppers around town who told are contemplating getting some kind of electronic gift for Father's Day, which is next Sunday.
