Tulsa, OK -
A man is under arrest after crashing his pick-up truck into a vacant North Tulsa home, Sunday Evening.
Tulsa Police Officer Ashley Loncarich tells KTUL.com, the driver was heading North on Columbia Avenue, lost control, hit a curb and slammed into the front of the house.
One witness told KTUL.com, he saw the "car just zooming, bounce off the curb and ran into the house."
Loncarich says there were four passengers in the truck at the time of the crash. They we're checked out by EMSA and appeared to be uninjured, save for a few cuts and bruises.
The driver was taken into police custody shortly after the crash. Officers found several prescription pills inside the truck.
The driver will be charged with possession of a "schedule four" drug and driving under the influence.
Police have yet to determine a dollar amount of damage to the home.
