A Stephens County man has been formally charged with first-degree murder in the death of a 16-year-old Velma girl.
Court records show prosecutors in Stephens County filed the charge Monday against 21-year-old Miles Sterling Bench Monday morning.
Bench is accused in the June sixth murder of Braylee Henry, whose body was found east of Velma. Investigators say the two had been co-workers at a convenience store and that blood was found on the floor of the store.
Bench was found driving Henry's car near Weatherford and was arrested.
