Claremore's city manager is resigning.
Daryl Golbek announced he'll stay on as the city's top administrator until a replacement can be found.
He will also continue his work as public works director.
Golbek says he prayed about the situation. But in the end, he decided working both jobs took too much time away from his family.
He was hired in January 2011 following a tumultuous time for the City of Claremore.
A number of city councilors and the city manager resigned in late 2010.
