Thunder fans were sounding off to Tulsa's Channel 8 in person, and from all over the country via Twitter.

Oklahoma's own actress and tv personality Olivia Munn tweeted:

"OKC thunder takes game 1!!! so cool to hear crowd chanting "o-k-c!" my home state has an NBA team and they're amazing!"

Actor Rob Lowe even recognized the team's greatness with: "congrats to the #thunder on a big win in your first #nbafinals game ever!!!"

then, there's James Harden's Beard, a fake account for Harden's facial fuzz.

The Beard's beard said: "standing by my prediction of the thunder in 2. Just gotta believe, ya know? #thunderup"
