Authorities found the mutilated remains of two cattle Tuesday.

Rogers County Deputies were dispatched to the 4500 block of South 4210 Road to take a report of an individual's butchered cows.

The owner had discovered that two of his calves had recently been butchered.

From the marks on the bones, the owner believed that the thieves had used saws.

Rogers County public information officer Jerry Schmittle told KTUL.com Wednesday that a similar attack on cows occurred around the Chelsea area, within three to four miles of this one.

Anyone with information that could help in the case is urged to call the Rogers County Sheriff's TIP LINE at 918-341-3620. Callers may remain anonymous.
