It's a Ford lover's dream come true! The Mid America Ford Shelby Nationals will roll into to the Brady Arts District Thursday night. The annual gathering of Ford enthusiasts from around the globe begins at 6 p.m.
To kick off the event, nearly 1,000 cars and trucks will cruise out of the Marriott Southern Hills hotel and make their way up Riverside to Route 66 where they will arrive in Downtown Tulsa's Brady Arts District.
The drivers of these classic cars will display their vehicles on Main Street, where spectators are welcome to enjoy the showcase of Ford hotrods, live music, vendors and a kid's zone.
This year's 38th anniversary of the Shelby Nationals is marked by the recent passing of Carroll Shelby. In his memory, historical information about the Shelby model and new merchandise will be available at tonight's show.
A full schedule of tonight and other events can be found at www.midamericafordmeet.com.
