Tulsa residents will be paying more for water and sewer services.
The City Council voted Thursday evening on a proposal to increase water rates by 7% and sewer rates by 9%.
According to District 4 Councilor Blake Ewing, the proposal passed unanimously.
The increase will result in an increase of nearly $4.00/month for the average household.
It's been several years since water and sewer rates have gone up in Tulsa.
