Thunder Fans Grow James Harden Beards

A few loyal Thunder fans are growing James Harden-style beards to show their dedication to the team.

Channel 8 caught up with three of them Sunday. They all began growing their Harden beards when the Oklahoma City Thunder made the playoffs. Now, they are all vowing to continue to grow their beards in support of the team. They said they will not shave if the Thunder win the Finals.

"I will probably grow my beard out until the beginning of next season. I'll be honest with you," said James Winham of Broken Arrow. "I'm going to keep it going. Such a good luck charm."

The fans said their friends are all very encouraging of their decision to grow their Harden beards.

On Sunday night a tornado went through the town of Carney. It destroyed or damaged about 40 homes. When you look out at the area there are homes in every direction that show some kind of damage. Some of the families that have lived there for 17 years and have never been through anything like this. They didn't even have enough time to get their family in the shelter.
