National Ride To Work Day

Posted: Updated:

There will be more motorcyclists on the road than usual Monday.

Monday, June 18th, is National Ride to Work Day for motorcyclists.

National Ride to Work Day is designed to showcase the increasing number of motorcyclists in our community as well as possible economic and social benefits of motorcycling.

Chairman of the Oklahoma Advisory Committee for Motorcycle Safety and Education, Kevin Behrens, says "National Ride to Work Day illustrates the growing number of motorcyclists on our roads and how important it is drivers of all types of vehicles  to share the road."

Behrens encourages all motorcyclists to wear the proper safety gear and be aware of busy morning and afternoon traffic routes.
