Several neighbors living on Orange Circle witnessed a car break-in suspect flee police Thursday evening shortly after 7 p.m.
Witnesses told Channel 8 they heard police sirens heading west on New Orleans Street, following a car that sped into their neighborhood, hit an embankment, severely damaged one car, and rolled into another vehicle. One resident said one of the parked cars that was hit was "knocked a quarter of the way in."
Another witness saw the driver get out of his car and run through a neighbor's yard. He said the suspect then ran through an open fence and continued onto the Cedar Ridge Golf Course. He said the suspect appeared young and had dark hair.
Witnesses said they saw police pursue the suspect.
Channel 8 was unable to confirm any information with Broken Arrow police.
