The Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) and the Tulsa Drillers are teaming up for an "All-American" blood drive.
If you give blood today between 4 and 9 p.m. at ONEOK Field you will score two free tickets to the July 6 Drillers baseball game and fireworks show.
In addition to free game tickets, each donor will also receive two tickets to the Tulsa Zoo, a T-shirt and a chance to win a suite for a Drillers game. River Spirit Casino will provide a coupon for $10 match play to each donor and one lucky donor will win a gift basket from the casino which includes a $100 gift card.
"In the midst of the fun of baseball and other summer past times, OBI needs help to meet the needs of patients in our area for the July 4th holiday week," said Oklahoma Blood Institute president and CEO, John Armitage (M.D.)
OBI hopes this event will inspire Tulsans to show their patriotic spirit and community pride by giving blood. Patients in 26 northeast Oklahoma medical facilities rely on OBI Tulsa for every drop of blood needed to live.
Anyone 16 or older weighing 125 pounds or more is encouraged to donate tonight at the blood drive and in the future. Donations can be made every 56 days.
