Cool Down With "Big Chill" At Tulsa Zoo

The Tulsa Zoo is helping man and beast stay cool this summer with the "Big Chill."

The zoo will now have water slides and inflatable bounce houses.

There will also be a double slip-n-slide to beat the heat.

The zoo will now open at 7 a.m. each day during the summer, so you can enjoy the zoo before the afternoon heat.

Organizers say it's a great way to enjoy summer in the state.

Admission to the water park is $5 for an all-day pass, or $20 for the season.

The extended hours run through labor day.

On Sunday night a tornado went through the town of Carney. It destroyed or damaged about 40 homes. When you look out at the area there are homes in every direction that show some kind of damage.
